Farmer & The Owl Announce 2015 Lineup, Introduce “Pay What You Like” Tickets

Wollongong’s boutique music and arts festival, The Farmer & The Owl will return this year, following a successful debut in 2013. Set to take over the University Of Wollongong grounds this Saturday, 14th March the 2015 lineup features such acts as DZ Deathrays, Jebediah, Bad//Dreems, Hockey Dad and more.

The 2015 instalment also sees international artists like the USA’s Bass Drum Of Death, South Africa’s PH Fat and New Zealand’s The DHDFD’s and Carb On Carb, alongside Australian acts like Lunatics On Pogosticks, The Mess Hall, Spookyland, Step-Panther and more.

As a reaction to what they deem “the over-commercialisation of music and the arts” organisers of Farmer & The Owl are offering a limited first allocation of tickets to the festival on a “pay what you like” basis.

As the phrase suggests, Farmer & The Owl Festival fans will be able to decide how much they want to pay for first-release tickets. Once this ticket allocation is exhausted, tickets will then revert to the normal ticket pricing until sold out.

Additionally, Farmer & The Owl organisers have introduced The Imaginarium – an artistic space created to reflect “an uninhabited world of unique and vibrant creativity”.

First round tickets will be available from Friday, 16th January. See the Farmer & The Owl 2015 lineup below.
