Justin Bieber likes to splash his cash on expensive, fast cars and now he’s translated that love to song form with a cover of Tracy Chapman’s Fast Car.
Obviously, Chapman’s original wasn’t exactly about Ferraris but we’d like to believe that Bieber thinks it is. He covered the track in the UK’s BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge which is a little like triple j‘s Like A Version.
He performed a few of his own tracks like Cold Water and Let Me Love You before taking on the 1998 Chapman classic.
The song has come back into popularity this year after receiving not one but two trop-house remixes. Thankfully, Bieber opted not to go down the trop-house root, choosing to deliver a stripped-back, acoustic version instead.
No matter what you think about Bieber’s sketchy attitude, you’ve got to admit the man’s got some dulcet pipes. But, if you’re not keen on it at all, here are a few pictures of the popstar with fast cars instead:
