Fear Factory To Play ‘Demanufacture’ Live For First Time On Australian Tour, July 2013

Having shaped much of the landscape for modern day metal via dominating the scene during the ’90s, Fear Factory have announced they will be heading to Australia for a headlining tour with a twist. This time round Fear Factory will be performing their seminal album Demanufacture live from start to finish for the very first time.

Released in 1995, Demanufacture may have been beaten by Metallica’s Black Album for highest-selling album of the decade but it did succeed in expanding people’s minds as to just how far the genre can be taken. The album set an almost unrealistic benchmark for others to beat and even to this day, few have even come close.

This is the first time ever that the band will be doing such a tour, and fortunately Australian fans will be the first to experience it.

For those struggling to understand how this is the band Soundwave teased with their brain scratcher earlier today: Guitarist Dino Cazares previously performed at Soundwave Festival with his other project Divine Heresy back in 2008.

Tickets go on sale next Thursday, 30th May at 9am AEST.
