From their humble beginnings in Las Vegas, Metal heads Five Finger Death Punch have discussed plans for Trespass America, the brain child of the Europe-based magazine Metal Hammer, who will be sponsoring a US event for the first time.
The band discussed the details in a recent interview. Locked in to kick off on July 13 in Colorado, the tour will hit 31 cities around the USA. Including names such as Emmure, God Forbid, Trivium, Killswitch Engage, Pop Evil and Battlecross, it’s set to be a hard out metal-as-anything event. The final date will be August 28.
It seems like a fairly popular theme for bands to develop their own festival these days, with Jay-Z’s Made In America festival as well as Metallica’s Orion festival. Though Five Finger Death Punch aren’t so much in the same tier as those artists, they are currently touring off the back of their third album, American Capitalist, which is looking to join their previous two releases at Gold status, and have been one of the most respected, and easily one of the toughest metal acts since their inception.
Take a goosey gander at the interview; it’s well worth it!
