Together, Festival of the Sun and triple j have proudly declared that Mid North Coast’s very own Patrick James will be performing at the event, thanks to the triple j Unearthed vessel.
He has refined his live performance not only through a headlining tour earlier this year, but also as support slot for the likes of Tim Hart, Howie Day, Jay Brannan and The Paper Kites. All the while he has found the time to write, record and release the first single Bright Lights off his future EP, expected around March.
“It’s been such an amazing year and winning the Unearthed competition just puts the cherry on top! I cannot wait to share the stage with the likes of these artists,” said James of the announcement, adding “triple j’s Unearthed is so revered, I mean guys like Richard Kingsmill judged, wow! Thanks triple j and FOTSUN!”
James will be joining names such as Kimbra, Dead Letter Circus, Hermitude, The Datsuns and other favourites, as well as current Aussie and Kiwi musical goodness.
