Future Music Festival Asia 2014 Drops Lineup For 3-Day Event

After putting on the biggest music festival in South-East Asia last year, Future Music Festival organisers are doing it all again, except this time it will be even bigger. Today sees the lineup for the event’s return unveiled, revealing 3 full days of nonstop live music goodness, and perhaps revealing some treats for Aussie music lovers also.

Taking place at the Mines Wonderland theme park in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia FMF South-East Asia will kick off on Thursday, 13th March with the FMFA 2014 Opening Party which will feature a headlining performance from Deadmau5 with more acts expected to be announced shortly.

The festival will then kick on to Friday, 14th March with the renowned Armin Van Buuren unleashing his world-class live show A State of Trance 650. Now the last time the Dutch producer did such a thing in Malaysia, 30,000 punters rocked up.

The finale on Saturday, 15th March will be an absolute riot with the unstoppable Macklemore & Ryan Lewis performing as well as Chase & Status, Knife Party, Rudimental, Naughty Boy, Sub Focus and a performance from Wu Tang Clan featuring Method Man, Ghostface Killah & Raekwon.

Now, this is where Aussie music lovers come in. It’s been some time since Wu Tang Clan were this close to our shores – God knows demand is at an all-time high. Will they make the trip down? Their schedule certainly seems to allow for it. Fingers crossed.

This is the first time ever that FMF has spread its goodness over 3 days, so tickets (which are on sale today) are excpected to simply walk out the door. Plenty of Aussies are said to be making the pilgrimage; so if you’ve got the itch, why not scratch it?
