It’s the middle of July, and you know what that means. Yes, the year is going at a freakishly quick pace, but also, we’re but a mere five months away from Meredith Music Festival and the accompanying smorgasbord of local and international talent that it brings.
From December 13th-15th this year, the beloved festival returns for its 29th year to Supernatural Amphitheatre for three days of music, nature, and all sorts of wild attractions.
No words on the lineup just yet, but last year we copped the likes of The Breeders, Sampa the Great, Yaeji, Pond and stacks more, so it pays to get in early.
If you’re already salivating at the thought of your return to the campgrounds, or intrigued at the thought of your first experience, Aunty has let the ticket ballot floodgates open via the Meredith website. You’ve got to register by 10:29PM on Monday, 12th August to be in with a shot to purchase tickets. Ticket offer rounds are generally around mid-August and then again a week later.
Head to the site, register for the ballot, sit back and watch this ripper video of Dirty Three playing Meredith way back in 2004, and wait patiently.
