30/70, Hannah Cameron, Zoë Coombs Marr Added to Meredith Music Festival 2023

The final additions for Meredith Music Festival 2023 have been announced. The live entertainment roster has gained rhythm and soul band 30/70, singer-songwriter Hannah Cameron, synth-driven post-punk outfit Dragnet and songwriter and improviser Andrew Tuttle. Comedian Zoë Coombs Marr will MC the Meredith Gift, the festival’s Sunday afternoon nude footrace.

A bunch of DJs have been added to the program, with the likes of DJ Earl Grey, Mothafunk, Lloyd Briggs and Clara to seize the decks in between performances on the main stage. Meredith Music Festival is happening from Friday, 8th to Sunday, 10th December at the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre, roughly halfway between Geelong and Ballarat.

The bulk of the lineup was announced in August. Headliners include West German techno-pop pioneers Kraftwerk, contemporary pop sophisticate Caroline Polachek, Canadian indie guitar band Alvvays, grime MC Flowdan and shaman-inspired dance duo Eris Drew & Octo Octa.

They’ll be joined by local acts Sneaky Sound System, Bumpy, dameeeela, Floodlights, Telenova, Miss Kaninna and Gut Health, plus British heavy rockers Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, Yorkshire’s noisy techno producer Blawan, American hip hop/electronic duo They Hate Change, and more. Tickets are all sold out.

It’s the 31st go-around for the annual Meredith Music Festival. Sibling event Golden Plains recently announced its 2024 lineup. The Streets are the headline act, alongside contemporary British jazz drummer and band leader Yussef Dayes, South London’s Afro-Caribbean funk and soul outfit Cymande, Zamrock legends WITCH, and more.
