Girl Talk, aka Gregg Gillis has just been honoured in his home town of Pittsburgh earlier this, with city councilman Bill Peduto putting forward a bill to make Dec 7th officially Greg Gillis day in the city of Pittsburgh. Pretty ridiculous I know.
“Be it further resolved that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare December 7, 2010 ‘Gregg Gillis Day’ in the City of Pittsburgh,” reads part of the bill. With no traditions or customs being officially announced, one would hope it would include shirtless partying and much mashing up.
“Gregg has become an international sensation selling out performances around the world,” said councilman Peduto. “I am honored to recognize all of the accomplishments of one of our native sons.”
