Fresh back from the USA, torch bearers of good times and loose morals The Goons Of Doom return to headline Ghettoblaster at Qbar on the 2nd of October, the band and friends well ready to bring the mother fucking ruckus.
Having kept shit on the down low since their last appearance on Sydney’s sun drenched streets, The Goons are in top form, eager to deliver the trademark tongue in cheek raucous rock & roll. Joining them will be fellow throat scrapers and booty shakers Shakin’ Howls, their alcohol fueled high energy sets to be accompanied by &Dimes artist Judie So and Saxon Shing (Fox Glove), who will be painting a wall live on the night.
With a selection of additional attractions so varied that even Zeus himself would struggle to make a decision as to who to see on the night, Ghettoblaster promises to offer a night of booty shaking beats and memorable music that is sure to grab your attention.
They’ll be rocking a $6.50 GhettoBlaster shot, and all involved are spending the night in the event lead up, taste testing what will become the $8 GhettoBlaster cocktail. I know this might seem a bit steep but with Goons Of Doom and Shakin’ Howls on board… we just had to bring you $5 beers to fill those red cups with.
