Earlier in the month, Green Day announced that their 13th studio record, Father Of All Motherfuckers will be released on Friday, 7th February 2020. It will be the band’s first since 2016’s Revolution Radio.
It was a massive day on the announcement front, with the American punk rockers sharing the title track for the new record and announcing the ‘Hella Mega Tour’ which will see Green Day, Weezer and Fall Out Boy performing shows in Asia, Europe, North America and Russia. All three bands will be releasing new albums between now and May.
The punk rockers have shared a new clip for ‘Father Of All…’, with the band saying “We wanted to make something about dancing. Anxiety. Tribalism. Joy.. and straight up violence.”
“It’s the history of us. Meaning all of us. None of this is choreographed.. (except the hotties in red) we don’t need to be choreographed… just lose your shit.. scream like no one is listening.. dance like your hair is on fire. punk soul rockers!”
