UPDATE: GWAR Announce 2018 Australian Tour
ORIGINAL STORY: A poster has emerged teasing what looks to be a 2018 Australian Gwar show or tour.
The band shared a poster on their socials featuring the words, “Battle for Adelaide coming 2018,” which has Aussie fans very confused.
The poster features the URL for the website of Aussie concert promoter David Roy Williams which most likely means it’s aimed at Aussie fans but at this point it’s unknown if they are teasing a full tour or simply a show in Adelaide.
Gwar released their fourteenth album The Blood of Gods this year, the first album since the passing of frontman Dave ‘Oderus Urungus’ Brockie.
The last time the band were in the country was for Soundwave in 2014, months before Oderus Urungus died.
New vocalist Blöthar sings on the album and has been touring with the band.
