Harlequin League – ‘Won’t Change The World’ Sydney Single Launch

Despite being hard at work writing their debut album Harlequin League will pry themselves away from their laboratory of hit tunes long enough to launch their new single ‘Won’t Change The World’ around the country.

Harlequin League may not change the world but they will rock your socks off when they celebrate ‘Won’t Change The World’ with two shows in Sydney at the Beach Road Hotel in Bondi on Wednesday 4 November supporting Wolf & Cub, and Kit & Kaboodle’s “The Filth” at the Sugarmill Hotel in Kings Cross on Thursday 5 November with The Protectors.

Effortlessly combining elements of dirty rock, gritty post punk and eclectic pop, ‘Won’t Change The World’ is something to tide us over the summer, while the band finish up their first full-length effort. Going by their two EPs We Used To Be Gods, Now We’re So Plain (2008) and ‘I Don’t Do Friends’ (2009) – releases that earned Harlequin League a triple j Next Crop and Unearthed J Award nomination as well as numerous support and festival invites – Australia is in for a musical treat!
