Prepare to get walloped in the feels by London Grammar‘s achingly sweet new track, dubbed ‘Truth Is A Beautiful Thing’.
The soaring, melancholy piano ballad is the stuff of shivers, and is best listened to while running in slow motion through the pouring rain as the cascading precipitation washes your salty tears into the gutter.
The haunting tune comes hot on the heels of previous cuts ‘Rooting For You’ and ‘Big Picture’, and also happens to form the title track from the British trio’s new album, the follow-up to their 2013 debut If You Wait.
Meanwhile, London Grammar may have only recently paid us a visit for Falls Fest, but as they recently told triple j, a new LP on the way means it won’t belong before they boomerang back our way.
“We will definitely be touring again, pretty soon. Definitely coming back to Australia, we can’t stay away,” they said.
Wrap your ears around ‘Truth Is A Beautiful Thing’ below, and catch the full album of the same name when it officially drops on Friday, 9th June.
