Holy Holy Drop ‘That Message’ From Forthcoming Second Album ‘PAINT’

Holy Holy have dropped the third single off their forthcoming album PAINT ahead of its release next week.

The Aussie band have unveiled ‘That Message’ with an intriguing video which shows local artist James Drinkwater creating an original artwork based on the song.

The behind the scenes look at his process is part of a series called ‘Painting To PAINT’ which will see four artists recreate interpret songs from the record.

Ben Kenning, Chris Horder and Lottie Consalvo’s interpretations are still to be revealed.

“This project has allowed a rare crossing of the line that exists between the Australian contemporary music scene and the Australian contemporary art world.” said Tim Carroll from the band.

“There is an opportunity here to see how an artist who operates in the visual world, interprets and responds to a work created in the sonic one. Working with James is a real honour for us.”

Their sophomore record PAINT is out 24th February and it features the singles ‘Darwinism’ and ‘Elevator’.
