UPDATE: Second Soundwave 2014 lineup has been announced — full details here!
It may not be the third headliner we’re waiting for on the second Soundwave 2014 lineup announcement, but it’s a leak nonetheless. While they haven’t been 100% confirmed, it’s looking good that I Call Fives will be included in the upcoming Soundwave 2014 second lineup announcement.
The New Jersey five piece’s involvement in the festival was “leaked” via Twitter after a fan was given the all clear to reveal the news by none other than the leak master himself, AJ Maddah. The tweet was retweeted by both Maddah and Soundwave’s official account which is about as close to a confirmation as you can get bar an actual confirmation.
The band are no strangers to our shores having toured here previously in 2011 with Heroes For Hire. A Soundwave appearance will be their first Australian visit since their recently released self-titled debut album. Other acts leaked before the second lineup announcement drops include The Devil You Know, and Cali party starters Zebrahead. So by all accounts, announcement #2 is going to be a doozey.
