Sugar Mountain Festival has added buzzworthy band of the minute Iceage to their already impressive 2015 lineup. The Danish punk foursome will play at the festival’s new venue, the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), on Saturday, 24th January.
Yes, Iceage only just toured Australia in September for some exclusive club shows. But after generating a huge amount of buzz, the band are back to capitalise. Alongside the Sugar Mountain appearance, Iceage will also open things up with two headlining sideshows, playing Sydney at the Oxford Art Factory on Wednesday, 21st January, and Brisbane at the Alhambra Lounge on Thursday, 22nd January. Iceage still be plugging their stellar third album, Plowing Into the Field of Love, which has received praise the world over. With a live show described as teetering “thrillingly on the edge of chaos”, expect the still-young band to give it their absolute all.
Early bird Sugar Mountain tickets sold out within an hour, and general release tickets are already moving fast, so we’d suggest moving quickly.
