If you thought the title of Jack White‘s latest solo record, Lazaretto, already sounded like a fancy and indulgent ice-cream flavour, you weren’t the only one to make the connection. Today award winning gelataria Gelato Messina has created a limited edition ice-cream flavour inspired by the American musician.
The limited edition Jack N’ White flavour is a mix of Jack Daniels, caramelised white chocolate, caramelised pecans and caramel fudge. It will be available to enjoy from today for 7 days at Gelato Messina stores in NSW and Victoria.
It’s not apparent whether the ice-cream’s creation is another peace-offering by the bluesman to offer amends to people he’s “offended” in the last few weeks, including The Black Keys and former bandmate Meg White. White recently issued a far-reaching apology for some of his recent remarks.
If your mouth is already watering over the amazing flavour combination of Messina’s lactose-tribute to Jack White, head to one of their stores in Darlinghurst, Pyrmont, Surry Hills, Bondi, Parramatta or Fitzroy.
