Jerome Farah Returns With New Single ‘Mikey Might’

Jerome Farah has made huge waves with his debut single released earlier this year, and now he’s keeping it 2 for 2 with the release of his follow-up track ‘Mikey Might’.

The track comes off the back of ‘I Can’t Breathe’, which has made a huge impact around the country for its timely and political message calling out police brutality and racism.

‘Mikey Might’, however, is a song about Farah’s experiences coming from both a Lebanese and Zimbabwean background, and how he has internalised some racist and hurtful stereotypes.

“I am too White to be Black. I am too Black to be White,” Farah said of the song in a press statement.

“This grey area is confusing as hell.”

Farah is set to perform at Yours & Owls in Wollongong in January, after the event was pushed back from its usual September spot.
