The Jungle Giants & RVG Lead 2018 Australian Independent Music Award Nominees

Local rockers The Jungle Giants and RVG lead all other nominees ahead of the 12th annual AIR (Australian Independent Record Labels Association) Awards.

With over 40 local acts nominated for this year’s awards, the likes of singer-songwriters Alex Lahey, Jen Cloher and Stella Donnelly have also picked up multiple nominations.

Leading the pack, The Jungle Giants are up for Best Independent Artist, Best Independent Album Or EP, Best Independent Single, Breakthrough Independent Artist Of The Year.

Meanwhil, RVG are nominated for Best Independent Album Or EP, Best Independent Single, Breakthrough Independent Artist Of The Year and Best Independent Hard Rock, Heavy Or Punk Album, off the back of their debut album A Quality Of Mercy.

The 2017 AIR Awards were dominated by rap duo A.B. Original, who took home five awards from five nominations.
