Today, K-Pop royalty BTS announced that they will be making their MTV Unplugged debut later this month.
The performance will see them scale things back – but just for this one night. It’s a rarity for the group, who are known for their impeccable performances which are characteristically high in theatre and excitement.
Their Unplugged appearance was filmed in Seoul, South Korea and will see the group perform some of their biggest hits, including cuts from their latest record, BE, which was released in late 2020.
Airing via MTV on Tuesday, 23rd February at 9PM Eastern Time, it will also be airing around the world on that same day.
Back in September, BTS landed the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 with their single ‘Dynamite’, making them the first K-Pop group in history to land the top spot.
