Kanye West Announces New Album On Twitter, Then Deletes Tweet

Kanye West‘s rampage of confusion continues, with the rapper (and on-again/off-again US Presidential candidate) tweeting a new album announcement, before swiftly deleting it.

Contrary to his most recent album announcement, detailing the imminent arrival of an LP called God’s Country, Yeezy’s new tweet revealed a new album called DONDA — named after his most recent single and his late mum — would be released this coming week, on July 24th.

The now-deleted tweet also included a track list for the record, which included Ye’s recent Travis Scott-featuring single, ‘Wash Us In The Blood’.

Scope it:

FYI ‘Wash Us In The Blood’ was originally tipped to feature on the God’s Country LP, leading us to believe this is the same record with a last minute name-change (something Ye has become notorious for).

No word yet on why Kanye deleted the tweet.

Meanwhile, despite numerous reports that he would be dropping out of the 2020 US presidential race, the rapper has since filed paperwork with the US Federal Election Commission.

Yeezy is also petitioning to have his name listed on the South Carolina ballot. In another tweet (which has not been deleted),  he directed fans to visit a newly-established website that’s collecting petition signatures:

It comes after Yeezy and numerous other high-profile celebs and global power-players were hacked as part of a global Bitcoin scam.

A standard week in the world of Kanye West, really.
