A creative studio belonging to Kanye West has reportedly been robbed, with thieves making off with around USD$20,000 worth of Ye’s equipment.
According to TMZ, sources with connections to law enforcement say they were called to Kanye’s office in Calabasas, California on Tuesday, following reports of a burglary.
The Yeezy thieves supposedly pried open one of the doors to Kanye’s studio on Monday night, 23rd May, before taking whatever they wanted from the premises, including laptop and desktop computers.
Sources close to Kanye say the rapper has already had all of his gear replaced, and believes some “heavy-duty” tech security has prevented any of his information (or music) from being compromised. Yeezy himself is yet to publicly comment on the robbery.
Law enforcement sources say they don’t have any suspects yet, but Kanye’s team reportedly thinks the burgulary was orchestrated by someone with knowledge of what the studio contained.
