There’s lots of good news from the Katie Noonan camp today. The acclaimed Australian singer-songwriter has announced the arrival of a brand-new EP, Peace Is My Drug, which she’ll be touring across the east coast this March alongside a brand new band, Katie Noonan’s Vanguard.
On the EP’s title single Peace Is My Drug, Noonan collaborated with artist and poet Michael Leunig. The single and EP will be available to purchase on 12th February exclusively on PledgeMusic, where Noonan will also be raising funds to help create and share her next solo album.
Katie Noonan’s Vanguard, is made up of former Katie Noonan and The Captains bandmates Stu Hunter (bass, keys) and Declan Kelly (drums, percussion) as well as Angus & Julia Stone guitarist Ben Edgar. The tour will be supported by Sahara Beck, with whom Noonan worked on her recent Songs That Made Me project.
The group will kick off their tour at The Toff in Town in Melbourne before moving across Victoria, South Australia, NSW and Queensland. Noonan will use these shows to premiere brand-new music from the forthcoming EP.
Tickets to all shows are on sale now. See tour dates and ticketing information below.
