Kid Cudi’s Finished Two Albums Due For Release In 2016

Some people (*cough* Frank Ocean) are having trouble finishing one album but Kid Cudi is powering ahead announcing he’s finished two albums.

In June, Cudi announced that he was planning to drop two albums this year, adding that he’d already finished one of them. Now he’s taken to Twitter to tells fans, “albums finished,” accompanying the tweet with a picture of Usain Bolt powering into the finish line with a massive grin on his face.

The first titled Passion, Pain, & Demon Slayin’ is due for release in the US summer which is coming dangerously close to the end and while the second doesn’t have a name just yet, it’s due in the fall which is our spring.

While no release dates have been set in stone, Cudi said that he’s going to have more information about everything for us this week.

These will be his first records since last year’s Speedin’ Bullet 2 Heaven although he has released a smattering of singles throughout the year.

There are a number of features rumoured to be on the record. Cudi revealed Listen Out-bound rapper Travis Scott would be on the record and also teased MGMT and Willow Smith as possibilities. Pharrell is another possibility after Cudi tweeted, “Got some magic from Pharrell lastnite. New collabs, new energy, new frequency.”
