Melbourne collective King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard have announced a pair of massive, “career-defining” North America gigs for next year, and we’re just a little jealous.
The genre-defiant rockers will perform at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on Thursday, 18th April 2020, before performing at Red Rocks in Colorado on Wednesday, 6th May.
Both of the concerts will see King Gizz perform a “3 hour marathon set”, playing music that spans their mammoth 15-album back catalogue.
It’s a tempting prospect for Aussie Gizzheads looking to book a holiday around the time. However, if you’re hoping to catch the band a little bit closer to home, you’re in luck. They’ll be touring Australia as part of Laneway Festival 2020 in February.
King Gizzard released latest studio album, the heavy metal-tinged Infest the Rats’ Nest, back in August of this year. It was their second for 2019, after April’s Fishing for Fishies.
