KISS’ Gene Simmons Sued For Alleged Sexual Battery, Again

KISS member Gene Simmons has been sued for sexual battery, with a female former employee of one of his restaurants claiming he groped her in 2016.

The Blast reports that the woman (who identified herself as Jane Doe) claims she was working as a dishwasher at the opening of Simmons’ Rock & Brews restaurant when the incident occurred.

The woman claims she didn’t know who Simmons was, but agreed to take a photo with him in the restaurant’s kitchen area. She claims Simmons “reached over and forcefully placed his hand on her vagina, completely covering it”.

The woman also claims she witnessed Simmons act “in a sexually charged manner with other women” at the restaurant, touching their hair and telling them to unbutton their shirts.

The woman is suing Simmons for sexual battery, and is seeking unspecified damages. Simmons is yet to comment publicly.

Simmons was also sued for sexual battery last year, after an unnamed radio personality claimed Simmons had touched her inappropriately. The lawsuit was settled earlier this year.

In an interview with Channel Seven‘s Andrew Denton in June, Simmons described some of his previous behaviour with women as “arrogant” and “sexist”.

KISS are scheduled to tour Australia (supposedly for the last time) in November 2019.
