UPDATE: Korn Members Speak Out About Death Of Frontman Jonathan Davis’ Wife
ORIGINAL STORY: In tragic news today, Korn singer Jonathan Davis’s estranged wife Deven has been found dead at the age of 39.
As TMZ reports, Deven’s death comes on the same day that Jonathan had filed a restraining order against her.
“The Davis family is brokenhearted over the devastating loss of Deven Davis,” reads a statement issued by the metal singer’s publicist (via Consequence Of Sound).
“We ask that you respect their privacy — and the privacy of those close to the family — and allow them the space to mourn in private. We thank you for your love, understanding and prayers of support during this difficult time.”
While the on-again, off-again pair were still technically married, Jonathan had filed for divorce from Deven back in October, 2016.
He also reportedly filed a domestic violence AVO against her just hours prior to her death, alleging that Deven was a heavy drug user, and was “constantly under the influence of the nitrous oxide, cocaine and Norco”.
As a result, a judge issued an temporary order to stop Deven from visiting the pair’s two children.
TMZ also reports that Deven had been living in a sober house, but recently went MIA.
The circumstances surrounding her untimely death remain unknown.
Deven was an ex porn star. She married Jonathan in 2004 and had two children with him.
