Los Angeles-via-Perth producer and artist KUČKA has made her return today, with the release of her new single ‘Contemplation’.
‘Contemplation’ marks the first song we’ve heard from KUČKA since her two releases in 2019 – the Flume-assisted ‘Drowning’ and the Nosaj Thing-co-produced ‘Real’.
“‘Contemplation’ is about the importance of giving yourself time away from the chaos,” she said in a press statement.
“Sometimes we need a reminder that stillness is necessary in order to maintain balance both physically and mentally. It’s important to set aside time to practice this, in order to give space for self-reflection and intuitive thoughts to arise.”
It’s been a busy few years for KUČKA – real name Laura Jane Lowther – who has been on everyone’s radar following her huge selection of appearances on Flume’s seminal 2016 album Skin.
