American songstress Lana Del Rey has revealed another teaser trailer for her upcoming film, Tropico, a 30 minute short that’s set for release on 5th December and sees the 27-year old Video Games hitmaker star alongside model Shaun Ross.
Today’s NSFW snippet of the movie sees Del Rey whisper “I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness”, over a montage featuring the starlet wearing a veil and praying, some moody shots of a roller coaster and plenty of nudity. The singer-songwriter gave Nylon a summary of the film’s plot, saying, “It’s Elvis and Jesus and Marilyn and extraterrestrials all in one.” Very well then.
Tropico was directed Anthony Mandler and produced by Rick Rubin. The digital release will be accompanied by the Tropico EP, which will feature the tracks Body Electric, Gods And Monsters and Bel Air – all previously heard on the Born To Die Paradise Edition.
