Leeds and Reading Line Up Announced

The first line up for the Leeds and Reading festivals, to be held over the weekend of the 27th to the 29th August, has been announced.

There’s a few to-be-expected appearances there, but also some interesting returns from bands that haven’t seen the light of day in a while. For the first time in over five years, The Libertines will be performing together (well, in theory, it still remains to be seen if Pete Doherty can get to the venues without being arrested).

Blink 182 will be signalling their much-anticipated return to the festival circuit and Guns ‘n’ Roses (read: The Axl Rose show) will be dragging out another completely bizarre combination of band members to flog that dead donkey.

In a move sure to excite the two remaining fans of the band, Limp Bizkit will be performing too (I wonder if Fred Durst still thinks that he’s Zac De La Rocha?). There’s a whole lot more, but you can read the names for yourself below.
