Liam Gallagher Labels James Corden A “Knobhead”, Refuses To Appear On ‘Carpool Karaoke’

‘Carpool Karaoke’ is one of the most popular segments of the James Corden-hosted Late Late Show, but perhaps unspurprisingly you won’t find Liam Gallagher following in the footsteps of previous singers and celebrities to take part despite his re-emergence as a solo artist this year.

Corden’s segment has seen a huge number of big name celebrities appear to sing along to sing along to their own songs in his car, from Sir Elton John to Red Hot Chili Peppers, Adele, Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry and stacks more.

LG has made it abundantly clear that he’s not even remotely interested in taking part. As NME points out, Gallagher told the British edition of EQ Magazine not only that he’s not interested in the show, but that Corden “is a knobhead.”

“No, thank you very much,” responded the former Oasis founding member when asked if he had any desire to sing along to the radio with Corden on national television. “No fucking chance. With that fat bloke from Kevin and Perry?

He was then informed by his partnet Debbie Gwyther that he’d never watched the segement, to which LG responded “I don’t need to watch it to know I won’t like it. James Corden is a knobhead.”

Apart from spending his time bagging celebrities, his brother and fellow artists, LG is building towards the release of his debut solo album on Friday, 6th October.

Earlier today he also tweeted that we’d be getting another single from the album later this week.
