Late Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington has been laid to rest at a private funeral in California, according to reports.
Around 200 friends and family members attended a service for the singer on Saturday, 29th July, TMZ reports, and the ceremony reportedly featured a number of musical tributes to the late musician.
There was tight security at the event, with many police in attendance, and all funeral guests were supposedly given wrist bands and an access pass, which look similar to most concert VIP passes.
Meanwhile, fans have organised numerous memorials for Bennington around the world, including in Australia.
Of Mice & Mean frontman Austin Carlile, who attended Bennington’s funeral, has shared a photo (below) of the wristbands and memorial cards which were handed out at the service.
“The service today was beautiful. Thank you Linkin Park, thank you Chester. For everything,” he wrote.
Bennington died on 20th July at the age of 41, and his death has seen be ruled a suicide by the coroner. He is survived by his wife Talinda and six children.
