American singer-songwriter Jenny Lewis is back with a new track, Completely Not Me, which made it’s debut in the new season of HBO’s Girls this week and will be featured on the second volume of the show’s soundtrack.
Completely Not Me is one hell of a catchy folk ballad, with soaring vocals from the former Rilo Kiley frontwoman. The two and a half minute slice of emotive, stompy indie pop is a collaborative effort with Vampire Weekend‘s Rostam Batmanglij.
The track is a welcome return from Lewis, who spent most of last year on tour with The Postal Service. Girls: Volume 2: All Adventurous Women Do… will be released on 11th February and features songs from M. Ward, Lily Allen, Jake Bugg, Cat Power and more.
