Following a busy 2013 that saw them tour alongside The Cribs, The Jezabels, and DZ Deathrays, embark on an extensive East Coast headline tour, all the while working on new material, alt-rockers The Owls have returned with Krakow, the first taste of their upcoming EP, Own the Streets.
Produced by Lachlan Mitchell (The Jezabels), Krakow was recorded at Jungle Studios in Sydney’s Annandale closet, sourcing influence from Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Kasabian, and The Strokes, while mixing in the band’s own propulsive and highly dynamic sounds and rhythms.
The band continue to make good on their reputation as one of the country’s hardest working rock bands, with an extensive string of dates coming up for January and February, including a Sunday, 23rd February show at the The Bearded Lady in Brisbane. Check below for all live show details.
