Listen To Eminem’s All-Star Track ‘Detroit Vs. Everybody’

Eminem has dropped his all-star studded track Detroit Vs. Everybody. As the title suggests the track is made up of artists from the city of Detroit, featuring Royce Da 5’9″, Big Sean, Danny Brown, Dej Loaf, who sings the hook, Trick Trick, and of course Slim Shady himself.

Detroit Vs. Everybody has the quality you might expect from an Eminem collaboration. A present sense of dread and danger peppered by gritty raps over a polished, and in this case piano-heavy, beat. Incidentally, track producer Statik Selektah is the only non-Detroit artist who worked on the track.

The solid outing is the last track to feature on Disc X (1) of Shady XV, a two-disc compilation made up of new material from Shady Records’ roster along with a second disc containing the label’s greatest hits.

In the lead up to Shady XV, Eminem dropped Shady CXVPHER yesterday. Within the freestyle that features Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf, among others, Eminem’s verse made headlines for its conversational content, which includes a reference to punching Lana Del Rey in the face.

Among the many acts on Shady XV, Australian pop sensation Sia features on a new track with Eminem titled Guts Over Fear. Shady XV is set for release Monday, 24th November. You can bop your head along to Detroit Vs. Everybody below
