London Grammar are on the cusp of their new album Californian Soil, and now the British trio have unveiled another new cut of it with ‘How Does It Feel’.
The song is almost a complete departure from the sombre ballads of the band’s genesis, instead being a hard-hitting pop heater.
“I’ve always loved pop music,” vocalist Hannah Reid said in a press statement.
“Some of my favourite writers and singers are female, many who are younger than me but who are absolutely smashing the pop world with amazing songs. This song started off as an experiment and ended up being one of my favourites on the record.
“Along with our alternative side, this creates a light and shade on our album that I’ve always wanted to achieve.”
‘How Does It Feel’ marks the fourth cut we’ve heard from Californian Soil so far, following the release of ‘Baby It’s You’, ‘Lose Your Head’ and the title track.
Californian Soil is out Friday, 16th April. Listen to ‘How Does It Feel’ below.
