Listen To Paul Dempsey & Bernard Fanning’s Cover Of ‘Under Pressure’

Something For Kate‘s Paul Dempsey has teamed up with Bernard Fanning this evening for a surprise cover of Queen and David Bowie‘s iconic collaboration, ‘Under Pressure’.

Posted on Something For Kate’s Instagram, Dempsey said it’s “an ode to our Victorian friends living under Stage 4 restrictions and for that matter, anyone out there who’s feeling the pressure in these challenging times.”

Of course, Something For Kate orchestrated their long awaited comeback earlier in 2020, releasing their first song in eight years, ‘Situation Room’. They followed that up with ‘Waste Our Breath’, which dropped last month. Both singles are set to feature on the band’s forthcoming seventh album, also titled Situation Room, due out later this year.

As for Fanning, he sent the country into a frenzy earlier this year as he reunited with his Powderfinger bandmates for a one-off performance, titled ‘One Night Lonely’.

The performance served as a fundraiser for Support Act and Beyond Blue, and managed to raise almost half a million dollars during the stream alone.
