Peking Duk are apparently setting themselves up for a huge 2021, and today they’re kicking it off with the release of new song ‘Chemicals’.
With vocals from superstar songwriter Sarah Aarons, ‘Chemicals’ is a festival-ready banger that will have you absolutely screaming for that sweet vaccine so we can all party together once again.
“‘Chemicals’ was born from a gloomy Melbourne’s day with the incredibly talented Sarah Aarons,” the duo said of the song, which was apparently written in under eight hours.
“I feel like every time we get in the room together the chemistry feels right and there doesn’t feel to be any pressure to create something it more so just flows out. We ironed out the ideas together that day then took the beat away with our boy Styalz and completely flipped it to what you hear now.”
‘Chemicals’ is the first song Peking Duk have dropped in 2021, and the first they’ve dropped since 2020’s ‘Lil Bit’ with Tommy Trash.
But in case ‘Chemicals’ isn’t enough to tie you over, the band are set to release four more singles before year’s end, so there’s plenty of Duk to sink your teeth into.
