Little May will be touring Australia from 5th to 29th May this year in their biggest national tour yet.
Fresh off an international jaunt promoting their debut album, For The Company, worldwide, the Sydney trio will be back on home turf to play shows in 11 venues across Australia. Their folky first record, produced by The National’s Aaron Brooking Dessner, has received wide acclaim since its release in October, with plays on triple j, BBC Radio 1 and KCRW.
The band has an impressive resume of support slots too, with Cloud Control, Angus & Julia Stone and Cold War Kids among the artists they have opened for. Before taking their headline album tour in May, they will be supporting City & Colour in a set of shows around Australia.
The girls have also announced an awesome artwork competition. They are inviting designers and visual artists to make a poster for the national tour, an extension of the #artforthecompany initiative that commission works by 11 artists (one for each song) for the album launch.
The winner will have the honour of seeing their poster distributed across the country and will get some other enviable goodies, so check it out here and get designing.
