Looks Like Ghost Are Teasing New Music On Their Revamped Website

New music from Swedish metal outfit Ghost may be closer than you think, with the band today updating their website and uploading a mysterious gif to Facebook in the lead up to what’s expected to be a new EP.

The gif itself is pretty simple — just a band logo with static electricity buzzing above it — complete with the caption, “[MESSAGE FROM THE CLERGY] Are you ready?”

The band’s new, updated website is slightly more mystifying, and clicking on the link will take you through a series of questions that prompt you to click the final word, including “are you on the square?”, “are you on the level?” and “are you ready to swear right here, right now?” before finally, “before the devil?”

After clicking on the final phrase, you’ll be taken to a world map with a little radio signal sitting above the east coast of the USA. Hovering above it shows a time and a date — Monday, 12th September 9am EDT — which will be midnight on the east coast of Australia, as well as a link to Siriux XM Radio.

What do we make of all this? Well, there’s only one way to find out — be listening via Ghost’s website at 12am on Tuesday morning.

Ghost released their latest album, Meliora, in August 2015.
