Two Door Cinema Club are teasing the release of new music, giving us a snippet of what is presumably a new song.
The Irish band took to social media, posting a 10 second snippet of music with the caption “two days…”
A video that accompanies the snippet features illuminated writing saying “Are We Ready?” which could either be the name of a new song or a question aimed at their fans who have been waiting a while for new material. The snippet was preceded by a note that explained the band was ready to get things going again.
“We needed some time but now we’re back bigger, better and stronger,” they wrote.
“We’re excited to show you exactly what we’ve been up to so let’s get this started.”
Back in April, Two Door Cinema Club posted a status saying that album number three was finished. If it is to be unleashed this year, it will come four years after the release of their second album Beacon.
They played Bonnaroo Festival over the weekend, playing a set made up entirely of old material but they did drop a new song called Gameshow in Boston the week before. You can watch that below and get excited for new music which will hopefully arrive tomorrow.
