Having established their reputation as a formidable live act with a charismatic presence on pretigious stages including Groovin The Moo, St Kilda Festival, and support dates for Disclosure, Canberra trio SAFIA have been announced as the main support on Lorde‘s Australian tour.
These three talented musos will be hot on the heels of their current tour with Australian electro-pop sweetheart Elizabeth Rose, as well as their latest dispatch of crisply produced, askew and cinematic electronic pop, Paranoia, Ghosts & Other Sounds, which they unveiled late last month.
The band’s considerable skills both on the live stage and in the all-important studio have seen them garner some major accolades, including regular play on Triple J — even performing as part of the station’s Unearthed ARIA Week Showcase — and being nominated for a prestigious J Award.
