Following an overwhelming demand for tickets that saw Lorde‘s first Melbourne show on Thursday, 24th April at Festival Hall sell out just moments after hitting general public sale earlier today, the Kiwi songstress has announced a second Melbourne show that will go on sale at 10:00am AEDT today.
Earlier this week, promoters were forced to add a second Sydney show to Lorde’s highly awaited Australian headline tour after her Friday, 2nd May show at Horden Pavilion rapidly sold out. A second show for Saturday, 3rd May was quickly added, with Lorde’s Newcastle performance selling fast.
The Royals superstar was last in the country for an acclaimed series of performances as part of Laneway Festival 2014. A planned Australian tour was unfortunately cancelled by the young singer’s US ambitions, which have seen her sign a $2.5m deal with a major publishing house.
