Man Ejected From Unwritten Law Show For Punching A Female Fan

Californian punk-rockers Unwritten Law will wrap up their current Aussie headline tour in Perth tomorrow night, and now it has emerged that a violent male fan was kicked out of their gig at the Corner Hotel on Sunday night.

Currently touring the country to celebrate the 15th anniversary of their 2002 album Elva, the band were forced to take matters into their own hands after witnessing the act of violence.

A reviewer for The Music reports that during Unwritten Law’s song Lonesome, a male member of the audience punched a fellow female punter. Frontman Scott Russo then stopped the song and called the man out in front of the whole audience.

“You gotta go, motherfucker,” Russo reportedly said before security whisked the man away.

Following the incident, a representative for The Corner Hotel told The Music “The Corner is dedicated to being a safe space for everyone who comes through our doors. We don’t tolerate antisocial behaviour in the venue and incidents like this make it clear that bands & punters are on the same page.”
