Having previously collaborated with two of the UK’s brightest contemporary musical talents, Mary J Blige has hooked up with Disclosure and singer Sam Smith once again on new track Right Now. The track is the first taste of her new album, The London Sessions, which was co-produced by the EDM duo.

Earlier this year, Blige and the Lawrence brothers got together for the funky collaboration F For You, in addition to joining the boys onstage in New York and once again at Coachella where Smith was also present. Meanwhile, Blige appeared on an updated version of Smith’s hit single Stay With Me.

“The sound in London at the moment is house music. That is [how] the majority of people are producing their songs,” Blige told The Guardian. “But the ones that get truly successful are the ones using proper songwriting. Rudimental, for example, they write proper songs and then produce them like dance music.”

Blige explained that the same tactic was employed during the recording of The London Sessions. According to The Guardian, in addition to co-producing, the Disclosure boys perform on at least one song, while a handful of the album tracks were written by Smith, who joins Blige on a “doo-wop” duet. The album, the follow-up to Blige’s 2014 soundtrack to Think Like a Man Too, is set to drop in November.
