mewithoutYou Will Quit Being An “Active Band” Next Year

Philadelphia post-hardcore quintet mewithoutYou have announced that 2020 will be their final year together.

The band took to social media to share the news, saying “We have decided on next year as our last as an active band. We nevertheless have many plans in the interim, the details of which are forthcoming.”

mewithoutYou formed in 2000, self-releasing their debut EP Blood Enough for Us All the same year. The band would go on to release seven studio albums in their time, with their most recent being last year’s [Untitled].

No word yet on what the band’s plans will be for their final year, but here’s hoping they make one more trip down to Australia before calling it quits.
