Mick Jagger Is Reportedly Set To Undergo Heart Surgery

Legendary The Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger is reportedly set to undergo heart surgery, and the band have had to postpone their US tour because of the procedure.

According to Rolling Stone (lmao), Jagger has to have the surgery this Friday to replace a valve in his heart. He is expected to make a complete recovery, but the total time of the operation and recovery time means the band has to postpone their American tour which was set to take place between April and July.

“Mick Jagger has been advised by doctors that he cannot go on tour at this time as he needs medical treatment,” a rep for the band reportedly said in a statement. “The doctors have advised Mick that he is expected to make a complete recovery so that he can get back on stage as soon as possible.”

“I really hate letting you down like this,” Jagger said in a separate statement.

“I’m devastated for having to postpone the tour but I will be working very hard to be back on stage as soon as I can.”

We’re wishing Jagger a speedy and full recovery.
