Ministry Of Sound To Spin Your Noughties Club Faves At National ‘Reunion Tour’

What better way to kick-start your summer vibes than with something which is guaranteed to spin you straight into a party-time-flashback-frenzy. Yep, Ministry of Sound are doing a reunion tour spanning the first half of the early noughties, and we can feel the nostalgia already.

The Ministry of Sound Reunion Tour: The Annual 2001-2004 will bring you waaaaay way back to those naughty early noughties, sparking up memories of your most precious clubbing moments which are stored deep down in the Ministry of Sound compartments of your brain.

You can expect to hear from Ministry of Sound icons John Course and Mark Dynamix, who will be joined by a mix of beloved Aussie DJ supports in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Darwin, Perth and Brisbane. Course and Dynamix are the fellas behind the mixing of many Ministry of Sound Annual compilations, so they know how to strike clubbers’ sweet spots.

The Sydney show will have a focus on some ’00s breakbeat, with a dedicated Clubbers Guide to Breaks Room, with UK duo Plump DJs as well as our very own breakbeat master, Kid Kenobi.

Let the nostalgia take you by storm, brush the cobwebs off those dancing shoes, stir up some serious memories and hand over your soundtrack of a past life to the experts. Think Roger Sanchez, Basement Jaxx, Tim Deluxe, Cassius and Groove Armada, and remember the time when vinyl was still a DJ’s best friend.

The Ministry Of Sound Reunion Tour will span all three months of our upcoming summer, and will undoubtedly make a party happen somewhere near you.

UPDATE 05/08/16: After an overwhelming response, the Sydney show sold out in less than 48 hours. Ministry of Sound have now announced a second Sydney show at the Greenwood Hotel featuring MOS god fathers John Course and Mark Dynamix plus Groove Terminator, John Glover, Kate Monroe, the UK’s Plump DJs, local ledgend Kid Kenobi, Elroy and Frenzie, Ben Morris, Illya, Matt Roberts and Shamus.
