Miranda Lambert Shares New ‘Queer Eye’ Single ‘Y’All Means All’

Season six of Queer Eye has just landed on Netflix. Since the show was rebooted in 2018, each season has revolved around a single US state. This time around it’s Texas; specifically the state capital of Austin.

Texas is home to country musician Miranda Lambert, whose album, Wildcard, won the 2021 Grammy Award for Best Country Album. Lambert penned a new song for the Texas season of Queer Eye, titled ‘Y’All Means All’.

The track is rife with Texas references and empowering LGBTQIA+ signifiers. The chorus goes:

Yes queen, go queen / Dip it like a Dairy Queen

Put your inhibitions in a big U-Haul

Goodwill Gucci / Where my Chattahoochies

Out in the country honey, y’all means all

The official video features a mash up of scenes from Queer Eye season six, including the fab five of Antoni Porowski, Tan France, Karamo Brown, Bobby Berk and Jonathan Van Ness.

2019’s Wildcard is Lambert’s most recent solo album, but in 2021 she released The Marfa Tapes, a collaborative LP made with Jack Ingram and Jon Randall. In October 2021, Lambert released the solo single, ‘If I Was a Cowboy’, the first taste of her upcoming eighth studio album.
